This was, by far, one of my more challenging crafties. The time I put into it just correcting my sewing doodoo mistakes ,,, yikes,,, 4 days to complete her.
The exact moment of FRUSTRATION when I realized I sewed part of the SeaPony inside out and backwards & double double stitched the ends to make sure it won't come unstitched... and not once but twice. I could have just smack myself. Break out the Seam Ripper...
Another thing I broke out on this SeaPony was my thimble. I hate using a thimble. They are awkward, they fall off and they just plain get in the way. But when you are hand sewing and your needle gouges and breaks through your layers of skin not once but many times, it's time to give in. I just can't use the metal thimbles, so I have a leather one that works for me.
Through all this.... "Susie" the SeaPony is Done!!!
